My stylist Tania has no idea what customer service is or how to provide great customer experience , it really is unfortunate because the salon is adorable and the owner is personable and very sweet . Tania on the other hand , not so much, she never consulted with me On how much I want to trim off to have my hair or how I wore my hair, she just started chopping away. When I said to her hold on a second I feel like you’re putting too many layers in my hair she ignored me and then proceeded to tell me that everyone cuts layers differently . Needless to say not happy at all with my haircut which was really only supposed to be a trim however she gave me a completely different haircut not to mention that I had to ask her several times to take the dye off of my face she basically almost Rubbed my skin off and I still have dye on my face horrible horrible horrible experience
This place was not very good to say the least. I have never written a review on a place but, I was extremely upset. I was told this was a decent place. I figured I would try it I have a hairdresser but she is kind of far. The hairdresser was very nice however the hair came out very bad. I have black hair and I wanted an ombre dark brown at the top fading out to blonde and a haircut. I knew I would have to do it gradually as I have done this before. My hair came out blonde and red and the other hairdresser informed my hairdresser to cut the red ends off after she had already cut my hair and wanted to cut 2 more inches off. Which would have given me a very short bob. I told her there was no way she was cutting my hair even more. I knew this would take awhile but after being there for over 4 hours and mind you no parking you have to keep putting money in the meter which she did for me, I was not impressed. As I said I have done this before and it came out great even at the first stage. I didn't notice how bad it was because I left with wet hair after being there for so long I had to leave. She told me not to touch my hair and wait 2 days to straighten curl etc. So after waiting 2 days I finally got to straighten it and my hair cut is not even the same length some pieces were longer than others and it's very uneven. I had my hairdresser look at my hair and she said it was a disaster. Mind you I paid 120 for this she told me it would be 120 and didn't even take anything off knowing that she didn't even style or dry my hair. Which is why I didn't tip and you have to tip cash which is weird that you can't tip on you're card. I knew something was up when she had a big sign saying she was taking walk-ins and had taken some walk-ins. The other reason why I didn't wait to get my hair blow dried and styled is because she took a walk in and wanted me after being there over 4 hours already to sit under the dryer so she could finish someone else instead of her drying and styling me then going on to the other customer. I should've known when she kept making comments about other people especially hairdressers if they were to see my hair to say it's being done in stages from being black but that has nothing to do with it. As I said I've done this before and this is not even close to how it came out the first time and I didn't get charged this much. I should've said something but I really didn't realize how bad it was until I actually saw it dried and straight. I did make another appointment when I left which I won't be attending. I have made an appointment with my hairdresser. I will post a before and after. Also besides her I got a 2nd opinion and I was told I had been ripped off which made me even more upset. So just warning people beware. If you really want great hair see Lauren S. at Salon O 828 Oaklawn Ave. Cranston, RI I should've went to her the first time. I don't mind paying for my hair or it taking awhile but when you spend a lot and take that much time only for it to look like this it is very disappointing.
Bad experience. I went to get a haircut and all I could hear was really loud music and I paid way took much to get a crooked haircut. Lower your prices and your music and get better people working there. Never going again
