Nothing super fancy but there's a very nice playground for the kids and a peaceful place to sit and read a good book.

It's free, very large and a great way to spend an afternoon with the family. The also have kids playgrounds, a large gazebo, basketball courts for the older children, great for keeping them out of trouble. And in the summer they hold festivals and carnivals here cuz there is that much land. Best park in the city.

Nice park with a lot of history. The view overlooking the river would be amazing if it weren't for the blemish of a nuclear power plant right there in view... My son loves the big playground, though I wish they would run a fence all the way around it and add a gate... This would help keep the little ones from wandering off (or getting abducted) when out of view while the adults sit on the benches. We don't want to be helicopter parents, but the playground is really large and completely open on 3 sides, so we have to keep getting up and moving to other benches every time our small children move to another section of the playground.

This is a very nice park with a VERY interesting history (search Wikipedia). I can't give it 5 stars. But it's up there IMO. I mean how can you complain about such a nice park in the middle of a city? I personally love Fall River, and think it's a great city. Despite the fact that many put it down. And to me this is the epitome of what people who complain about the city, don't appreciate. It's a big park with 3 sections I guess you could could say. They host a festival here every August. I simply find it to be a bit of peace in the middle of a busy city.

One of the nicest parks in Fall River. Whenever I go to Kennedy Park its like I'm in a different city, it just has a great design to it. Tons of free parking too. There is this weird ice skating pond that sits there unused for most of the year which honestly could really be removed. It is a super great park to go for a brisk walk or run.
