If you read this, take the time to review your contractors and pass the word to your friends to do the same. If we all start checking up on contractors before hiring and review them honestly, we could save ourselves a lot of aggravation and money. Most people don't know this forum exists.
They didn’t clean the gutters of shingles and refuse
They literally poured tar around the chimney and troweled it down.
There are open holes where water was leaking into the attic and other parts of the underpayment.
Horrible!
It is falling apart in 2017. The roofing company we just hired said they have never seen a more shoddy job!
This outfit installed a 30 year roof in 2001 for the previous owners of our home.
The owner doesn't do the work. He sends a pack of outlaws to work on your property. He pays 8.00/hr to anyone who wants money to work for him. A police officer drove by and told me to beware since he knew them all professionally via arrests. The owner, Gary, seems nice enough, but he's not.
ANYONE would be better than this group. It's not possible to do worse!!! The owner also owns Jake's saloon & a lot of rental property. He has so many bad reports. I'm amazed that I'm the first to write about my experience. Unfortunately, I Iearned all this AFTER his "crew" arrived to do the work. I was mortified when I saw them. I knew I was in trouble and I knew it was too late for me. I was committed. Hopefully, you're not and can run away!!!!
The roofers damaged the interior of my house while roofing the outside. They left my roof open & went home. It rained and I incurred damages that Gary would not accept responsibility for, He offered to send his thieves in to patch the walls but I would soomer chop my hand off before any of them set foot in my home. We were told we would be robbed shortly after they left (everyone of their customers is robbed). We were robbed. Hundreds of dollars of scrap copper was stolen from our garage.
To hire this company is the equivalent of inviting criminals into your home and showing them your valuables.
Aside from all that, there are missing shingles. Wood trim they removed was replaced with pieces missing. From a drive-by, it looks fine. A closer look shows all the poor work.
