it's beautiful college. a lot of new buildings and good place to Study.
Nice campus, you basically teach yourself though.
I first enrolled at BCC in Spring of 2016 and I will say for the most part it's a great place to build your skills, set goals and achieve them. All the professors I've had were all so helpful and nice! The other students that go to class here are also very nice if you greet everybody with a smile. Plenty of peace and love to go around. If you suffer from anxiety, don't worry you will be fine. I haven't really met anyone that was unkind to me during my time at BCC. You should also know this school has a lot of credentials and just about all of it's programs are accredited. So you are getting a University type of education at an affordable price. I haven't had an instructor ever want to flunk me. The instructors I had made the effort they could to help me achieve my goals. After I took my prerequisite courses, I was able to transfer my credits. The only cons I'll say are that the guidance counselors can have cold personalities when they talk to you and "try" to help you find your classes. In that "G" building for some reason the young ladies seem to have snooty gossip attitudes like they are too good for everybody. Don't see that too much with the guys. Also, even though they have almost as many majors as a large university does, they can close down a program if it doesn't have enough students enrolled and that can cause your classes to cancel and extend your graduation date. Ironically they are still adding more majors to the school. just to give students more choices. Be sure you map out your time there when you enroll and ask if the classes for your major will get cancelled due to low enrollment so you can come up with a backup plan. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Aside from that, classmates and professor wise was a very positive experience. I hope you all enjoy your enrollment at BCC.
I've learned a lot here, not all staff is the best BUT the staff that is good is amazing and there's more good staff then bad. It's beautiful campus they keep up with it. Lots of places to study.
I always say that I got my two-year Nursing degree in three years at BCC. The first year was prerequisites. It was my 3rd career (!) and I was an older student but I got a good practical education. Worked as an RN for 12 years. Today one needs a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, so be prepared to continue your education. UMASS Dartmouth is a great next step.
