This is my FAVORITE market EVER! I'm Lebanese so maybe I'm a little biased but the owners/employees really do make sure you're getting exactly what you're looking for as some items can be confusing. You're satisfaction is also guaranteed because their pre-made Lebanese food is made by people from Lebanon so you're getting authenticity! It's not the market to go to if you're on a budget because you're getting the FRESHEST, top-quality ingredients and that's obviously going to cost a little more but it's worth it, believe me! After all, the word "DAOU" means "FRESH" in Arabic! [Fresh Market]
For me this is a quick and easy place to buy lunch or ingredients on the way home. They have a deli/bakery that sells fresh bread, meats, cheese, and hot or cold prepared food. My favorites are the small pies( they come in meat and vegetarian options) and their baguettes. They carry uncommon ingredients so I check there if it's something regular grocery stores might not carry. Service is always friendly and quick!
All great but the cashier was clearly somewhere else. Selection of goods is adequate for such a small location and the deli is amazing. Get a spinach or meat pie, they're cheep and delicious. This place is small marvel and a cultural staple in an otherwise bleak and neurotic city.
Daou Market is a great hidden gem in Fall River. The products they offer are always fresh and priced reasonably well. When I'm in a hurry, I always pop in to grab one of the prepared foods.
This is a great place to shop. Lots of delicious pre cooked food, salad & desserts. Groceries, fresh bread, fresh fruits & vegetables. It's a bit pricey but worth it.
