I came to market basket thinking it would be a lot of grand opening hype but I'm really in awe of how amazing this place is. The atmosphere is open, neat and organized. The staff is really on par. The prices are unbeatable and half of what stop and shop gets. Selection like none other. It's truly a great addition to the city and something the south end needed for sure. The seafood and meat selection is huge with every fish you can think of both fresh and frozen. Even off sale items feel like sale items. I am really blown away by it. Definitely will be coming back.
I arrived a skeptic thinking Market Basket wouldn't live up to the hype but it truly is an amazing market with an amazing atmosphere and selection. The produce is colorful, fresh, organized and cheap. The seafood selection is like none other, the meats are affordable, the Deli is impressive. So much to choose from. I hope it stays as awesome as I seen it today because it's definitely a great place and I will be coming back every week. It bested my favorite places for groceries and I am wowed with how efficient the staff is even with grand opening traffic. Definitely a nice addition to the city and better than Stop and Shop.
LOVE this place! Easy access, staff is all professional, helpful and make shopping there a breeze! There were a lot of people but that is to be expected with the grand opening. Good prices on everything. Best part - fresh prepared foods and sushi! They made mine to order right in front of me!
Super place to shop. One of the best things to happen in the area. What a great job they have done in the make over of the old harbor mall.
