The inside is really clean and large so seating is never an issue.
My review is more like 3.5 stars, rounded up for good measure. This is a pretty good fast food chain, not to be compared with other chicken joints in the area that are non fast food. It's on a similar level of KFC. The Popeye's of the Northeast are a hard find, so it's pretty special one has graced the Riv.
Food is fresh and tastes great!!! Employees are always engaging and responsive. The updated look great. Good idea for the charging station.
The food was awesome. They made the tenders fresh when we ordered. The bisquits are so good, and the mashed potatoes and Cajun fries were great, too. Service was exceptional for a fast food place, particularly Erica, who was personable and helpful throughout our visit. We'll definitely be coming back.
Service is usually poor here. Most of the staff seems put out to help, and sometimes you even get extra sass when you don't deserve it. And usually expect a wait because something usually needs to be fried (which can be more of a good thing, at least the food is fresh).
This Popeyes ruined my Popeyes love they gave us napkins as plates, the chicken barely had chicken in it. They didn't even gave us our busquites and specially didn't gave us honey or hot sauce. I dont recommend you to go to that place. Go to cfc it's wayyyy better. I'm a fat immigrant and this place ruined popeyrs history
Their chicken is tasty, and their unique sauces are even better. Try the blackened ranch for subtle spice. The sides are also pretty good. Fries are delicious, mashed potatoes are yummy and mac and cheese is good. It is on the pricier side for fast food, but it's worth a try!
